challenge
The biggest challenge in stair tower project was achieving the compliant staircase within the confines of the container frame. As the frame is to be used as a shipping container there can be no components outside the limit of the frame.
solution
With strict requirement on angle of staircase and length of risers the geometry becomes an important consideration. Hence the design involved intensive CAD drafting to ensure all the components fit.
results
The stair tower design satisfied all the requirements for the stair tower and achieved all client’s expectation and delivered the design on time and on budget.
